Your audit sheet, field for field

The report is modeled on a real water system audit and flow test, with a compact new-well section that stays blank on routine service. A tech doing a simple inspection fills only what applies — empty fields never print on the emailed report.

  • Job type first. Inspection / flow test, repair, install / upgrade, or new well — the rest of the form follows the work.
  • Well details. Drilled, bored, driven or dug; casing size, estimated depth, pump set depth and static water level.
  • Flow test. Drawdown level, GPM, pumping duration, max pressure, drop pipe — plus a notes field for staged readings.
  • Photos of the work. Wellhead, control box, tank and any damage — attached to the record.

The things generic field apps get wrong for water systems

A real flow test, captured

Static level, pumping (drawdown) level, flow rate in GPM, pumping duration, max pump pressure and drop pipe size — with a free-text field for staged readings (levels / GPM / psi / amps) as the test runs.

Pump & motor diagnostics

Pump type (submersible, jet, booster, constant-pressure), HP, volts, motor max amps vs measured amps at load, winding resistance and insulation-to-ground in ohms, and the control box date.

Pressure tank & switch settings

Tank type, air pre-charge, switch cut-in and cut-out pressures, and how many gallons the tank draw-down actually delivers — the numbers that tell you whether the system is set up right.

Pin the wellhead and components

Drop GPS pins on the wellhead, well cap, pitless adapter, pressure tank and control box. Next visit the tech walks straight to it instead of hunting the property.

Repairs, condition & recommendations

Rate pump, motor, tank, electrical and piping as OK / Fair / Poor / Replaced, tick off work performed — tank, switch, pump, wiring, pitless, check valve, constant-pressure — and write what still needs attention.

Water quality & new wells

Log chlorination, samples taken and observed issues (sediment, iron, sulfur odor, cloudy, bacteria). Drilling a new well? A compact section captures permit, method, depth, casing, screen, grout and estimated yield.

A service call, start to finish

What a stop looks like on the app

1

Tap the job

The tech picks his name, sees the day's stops, taps the next one and gets directions — with the property's well history already loaded.

2

Arrive & pick the work

One tap logs GPS, time and weather and starts the timer. He chooses inspection, repair, install or new well, and drops a pin on the wellhead.

3

Run the test

Static and drawdown levels, GPM, pressures, amps and tank settings — plus condition ratings, photos and the customer's signature.

4

Send & go

One tap emails the Water System Report — customer and office both copied — and he's on to the next stop.

Works on any tablet or phone with GPS and a camera — nothing to install from an app store. See system requirements & what to buy →

Watch it work

Two minutes beats two pages of copy

Unedited screen recordings of the live app — the schedule your crew works from, and the office side you run the business on.

Septic pictured. Every trade runs the same app with its own form template, checklist and price list — on well & pump you'd see your fields and your terminology, not septic's.

A day on the schedule

Septic, grease trap and drain jobs from the morning route through the “on my way” text — weather, crew, addresses and job notes all in one screen.

Customers, properties, commissions and CSV exports — the admin work that usually lives in someone’s spreadsheet, running off the same records as the field app.

Beyond the well

Fill the schedule, and get paid faster

The field app runs the service call. This side grows the business — booking, billing, texting and the integrations well and pump operators ask for most. It's all live today.

Weather-aware scheduling Pro

Never send a crew into a washout. A 7-day forecast sits on your schedule and flags the days that put weather-sensitive work at risk — and each tech sees that risk on his own jobs. For wells that means pump pulls and open-well work a storm day turns miserable, flagged before the truck rolls.

Calendar sync Pro

Your whole schedule in Google, Apple or Outlook — plus a private per-tech link so each person sees only his own route, nobody else's.

Website lead capture Pro

Turn your site into a booking engine. Use a hosted request page or embed it on your own site — requests land right in your schedule and convert to a job or quote in one tap, with address autocomplete and an optional auto-text confirmation.

Business texting

Text from your own registered business number — reminders and a two-way message center with replies and a chime, plus automatic STOP opt-outs handled for you.

Online card payments

Send a secure "Pay this invoice" link by email or text. Paid and owing reconcile themselves, with an optional cash discount if you'd rather steer customers off cards.

Quotes & estimates

Branded, line-item estimates sent by email or text. Track what's been sent, and turn a won quote into a scheduled job in one tap — no re-typing.For wells that means a new-pump or tank-replacement estimate a homeowner can approve on the spot.

QuickBooks Online

Push invoices straight to QuickBooks — no CSV in the middle. Run it by hand or set it automatic on a daily or weekly schedule, with tax-mismatch review flags before anything posts.

Service-due reminders

A recurring-service pipeline with a dollar forecast — this month out to five years — so you can see the repeat revenue coming and rebook a customer in one tap.For wells that means annual system checks and filter changes, forecast as money on the calendar.

Follow-up leads

Any report that flags a problem becomes a bookable repair lead — nothing that needs a return visit slips through the cracks, and the work is already scoped. For wells that means a weak flow test or a failing pressure tank turns into a repair on the books.

Questions

Well & pump software, answered

  • What does RouteHouse do for a well and pump business? It turns the water-system audit, flow test and repair report into a few taps — static and drawdown levels, GPM, pump and motor readings and pressure-tank settings — emailed to the customer as a Water System Report before the truck leaves the wellhead.
  • How much does RouteHouse cost? It's priced by the truck, not per user — $99 to $249 per truck per month billed annually across the Solo, Growth and Pro plans, with unlimited office staff and crew on every plan.
  • Can it capture a flow test and pump diagnostics? Yes — static and drawdown levels, recovery, GPM, pump and motor readings, and pressure tank and switch settings, all on one report.
  • Does it work for new well drilling? Yes — new-well drilling records and water-quality results are captured alongside maintenance and repair work in the same app.
  • Does RouteHouse work offline at the wellhead? Yes — it works offline in the field and syncs the job, readings, photos and GPS pins once the tablet is back in service.
  • Can I switch from another platform? Yes — switch and you get one free month of RouteHouse for every full month remaining on your current contract, up to twelve, and we'll move your data over for you at no cost.
