RouteHouse Acceptable Use Policy
Provider: NextForge LLC ("NextForge"), operator of the RouteHouse service (the "Service").
Effective date: July 21, 2026 Last updated: July 21, 2026 Version: 1.0 (interim — published pending attorney review)
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of RouteHouse and is part of the RouteHouse Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. You are responsible for your Authorized Users' compliance with this AUP.
1. Prohibited activities
You may not use the Service to, and may not permit anyone else to use the Service to:
- Break the law. Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe or misappropriate any third party's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Send prohibited communications. Send spam or unsolicited or unlawful messages; send messages to recipients who have not given required consent or who have opted out; send deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent communications; or otherwise violate anti-spam, telemarketing, or messaging laws or carrier rules (including the RouteHouse Messaging (SMS) Terms).
- Harass or harm. Transmit content that is harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or that promotes violence or discrimination.
- Distribute malicious code. Upload or transmit viruses, worms, malware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Compromise security. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems or networks; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service; or circumvent authentication, security, billing, or usage-control measures.
- Interfere with the Service. Disrupt or degrade the Service or its infrastructure, including through denial-of-service attacks, excessive automated requests, or overloading the system.
- Misuse data. Collect or harvest information about others without authorization, or use Customer Data in violation of applicable law or the rights of the individuals it concerns.
- Misrepresent identity. Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Reverse engineer or copy. Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or its features except as permitted by the Terms of Service, or use the Service to build a competing product.
- Resell without authorization. Sublicense, resell, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
- Store prohibited data. Upload data you are not authorized to process, or unusually sensitive data the Service is not designed to protect (for example, full payment card data outside the payment processor, or regulated health information) unless expressly agreed in writing.
2. Messaging-specific rules
Because RouteHouse can send text messages and emails to your own customers, you specifically agree that, when using those features, you will:
- only message recipients from whom you have obtained the consent required by law and carrier rules;
- honor opt-out requests (including STOP for text messages) promptly;
- not send messages in categories prohibited by carriers (for example, unlawful, high-risk financial, or other restricted content);
- accurately identify your business in messages; and
- comply with the RouteHouse Messaging (SMS) Terms and all applicable messaging laws.
You are solely responsible for the content of messages you send through the Service and for your relationship with your recipients.
3. Your responsibility for content and users
You are responsible for all Customer Data and communications transmitted through your account and for the conduct of your Authorized Users. You must promptly notify NextForge of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
4. Monitoring and enforcement
NextForge does not routinely monitor Customer Data but may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. If we believe a violation has occurred, we may remove or disable offending content, and suspend or terminate access, as described in the Terms of Service. Where practical and lawful, we will attempt to notify you first, but we may act immediately if we believe the violation poses a risk to the Service, other users, or third parties, or is required by law.
5. Reporting violations
To report a violation of this AUP, contact us at [email protected].
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated as described in the Terms of Service.
